PIAGGIO is the inventor of the APE. It was in 1948 when Piaggio manufactured the first APE unit in Pontedera, Italy. Since then their iconic vehicle has been running all over the world. With different types of configurations it has been the transport solution for a lot of people.

The passenger option has evolved in a very cheap option for people around the world and in a mayority of countries abroad. The cargo versión is the solution for small weight products in very small roads, with enough power to work in a day by day basis without any fault. The food truck version has been created as a business option to get the customers close to their needs.

Every project starts with a brand new APE PIAGGIO unit, with gasoline or diesel engine. Normally a gasoline engine unit is the favourite option for a standard project. Diesel engine are for heavy projects that may include the "rise push button" that will increase the inside space for easier service.
